You will find most of Europe is like a Socialist Republic, except for the bits like the UK which are a Socialist Monarchy.
Over 40% of GDP goes in taxes here and Gordon Brown still borrows money like there is no tomorrow.
These people even tax successful people & subsidise wasters. How's that supposed to encourage the economy?

My intermittent wifi problem initially appeared to be fixed by updating the driver, but it then reoccurred. I found it hard to believe that it's an overheating issue, but unplugging the power supply to my AOA 150 and running it on the battery has made my wifi icon reappear and my internet acess return. Strange but true!

Do you have the 'taskbar' (panel) set to autohide? That causes a problem with the network manager applet. Unplugging the power would cause an icon to change / appear on the taskbar, which may be affecting it, causing a re-draw and hence bringing it back to life.

Ever since I set my taskbar to not autohide, I've never had a problem with wireless, or for that matter wired ethernet.
