The infamous black keyboard tab

    Hello,
    As some of the other users here, I too have lost the tab that secures the keyboard ribbon into the connector. I tried putting a piece of a business card in there to apply some force onto it and keep it connected and that worked, but some of the keys still wouldn't function. I'm trying to find out what the best method of keeping it pressed down is. Can anyone help me out?

    You just need a new tab, i'm sure that size of ribbon cable will be used on many devices, just check the sizes
