I have managed to install thunderbird which works with no problems but how do I make it my default email sender? The problem arises when I want to send a weblink or file from within another programme ie in browser (file - send link) when I do this it fires up the acer software which is not the one I want.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction

    Cheers

    Chris

You need the Preferred Applications settings dialog - right-click, select Settings->Preferred Applications. What you do then is pretty obvious ;)

Hi I also followed your instructions, thanks. Now, how do I get an icon where the Aspire One email icon is? Thank you
