i just installed the tiny7 rv02 700mb off cdrom but id like to be able to display chinese characters. is there a chinese pack i can download?

or can i use my original windows 7 dvd and select install support for east asian languages under region settings in control panel then redirect the file path to the relevant dvd path?

    - if so, can someone direct me to the correct file path on the dvd? thx .

Run windows update and it will give you the option to install the additional language packs.

There is no 'support for East Asian languages' option in Windows 7 unfortunately, it comes pre-installed or gets added when you activate a language for the keyboard. However, you should be able to install from your Win7 DVD, by changing your language to Chinese and choosing the DVD folder for install. Then switch back to English and Chinese support should remain.
