I've searched for a while for answers on the net...

So I have TinyVista. I have the utility to format my USB drive and make it bootable.

How in the heck do I transfer my TinyVista files to my USB drive in such a way that it will work on USB boot? Regardless of the techniques I use, either the USB boots to dos and I can't figure out which EXE I need to run to get the setup going (there is no SETUP.EXE) or it circumvents the USB and goes right to Windows XP on my HDD?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

i managed to get tiny vista to install via usb.

    Just follow this guide

    viewtopic.php?f=38&t=4404

so the bits where they talk about the vlited vista heres what you do.

mount your tiny vista image with daemon tools

copy the entire contents to the memory stick and when thats done follow via step 9.

Be warned this will take you a couple of hours, it may seem to hang on the " completing installation bit, but let it finish installing.

when you say it will take a couple of hours, how long exactly do you mean? i started re-installing at about 13:30 and it's now 15:05... should it be taking this long?
