To install LightScribe using the GUI (Graphical User Interface) is....
    1. Download the 2 files you need for use with Mandriva which are...
Then you go to the folder you downloaded them to and install by clicking on the files in the right order. Which is lightscribe-1.8.15.1-linux-2.6-intel.rpm first and then 4L-1.0-r6.i586.rpm. You will be asked for your root password in the process. Then go to /usr/4L and run 4L-gui to run the GUI (Graphical User Interface) for LightScribe.

You can get the needed files from....

Worked for me and I hope it helps others.
