    How do I get
installed onto my AA1? Using the package manager it tells me it can't install gnome-menus. When I try to install gnome-menus I get another installation error. Any assistance is appreciated. GeorgeB

I don't know that you can - safely that is. gnome-menus requires certain files that conflict with things that Acer uses. There are ways to force the installation, but that will surely overwrite what Acer has hacked together and is likely to break things. Maybe someone will come along who has actually forced this overwrite and discovered that everything is still OK? Somehow, I have my doubts.

    Cheers.
