    Hi all!

I was trying to install Windows XP PRO SP2 on the Aspire One D250. Now, everytime I restart or start up the laptop, I get a black screen showing mulitple OS. Is there a way to delete ALL of the other OS and just keep the Windows XP PRO which is the FIRST one. Here are the options that I have on the Aspire One:

    Microsoft Windows XP Professional
    Microsoft Windows XP Professional
    Microsoft windows XP Home Edition
USB repair NOT to start Microsoft XP Prefessional

The more I try to install Windows XP PRO, the more it will add to the list it looks like. During the installation using the USB Flash drive, I only see the C: drive and there nothing else to delete. I was hoping to see all the OS listed above so I can delete the ones I don't need anymore.

The question is, is it normal to have all the OS listed during restarting of Windows? The good news is that the first Microsoft Windows XP Professional is ALWAYS highlghted and I just have to click the ENTER button on the keyboard and it boot up the correct OS. I was hoping there is a way to make it boot Microsoft Windows XP Professional normally without seeing all the OS and make a choice.

    Thanks for any advice!!!

Right click - my computer then properties

then advanced on startup and recovery

    then edit

now you will see all the systems look at the top one and in partition look at number probably 1 then look at the lines beginning with multi , delete whichever lines do not have the same partition number as the default line then save restart and itll be all gone
