touchpad is not working on osx

    Touch pad is not working on OS X leopard nobody has a solution !!!!!!

    maybe because nobody has had the problem
    this is not a driver issue or something
    reinstall, and if you have ever taken apart your aao, then retake it apart and ceck the connection
    these are the 2 possible remedies

    are you talking about the touchpad as a whole? or the "tap" function of the touchpad?

    Yeah remember the tap function by default is disabled, you have to enable it under Keyboard and Mouse preferences. I ran around in circles thinking that was a kext issue until I looked in the obvious place.

    Also, like has already been mentioned, if you've taken your machine apart for anything really check that touchpad ribbon cable carefully its very short and comes unplugged easily!
