I am running XP Home on my Aspire One and have a wireless mouse that I use. But as a result of plugging in my wireless mouse I have somehow disabled my Synaptics Touchpad. I should be able to use either or rather than just the wireless mouse.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You just saved me spending hours searching for a problem! I didn't know FN+F7 did that! Weird though, even after a restart it kept the touchpad off. Thanks!
