    I found some on ebay that ship from hong kong but require soldering, which makes me kind of nervous.
    http://stores.ebay.com/Onetouch4sale/_i ... 2791326018 These are apparently compatible with acer 10.1 screens.

    I got my kit for AAO150 from VisualTouchWorld a while back. I installed it for the Win XP and everything worked fine.

    Then I upgraded (clean install) to Win7 and then the trouble began.

    If the included SW was installed, I couldn't do the calibration. There's drawing test. I could move the cursor, but:
    1) when I made a circle on the screen counter-clockwise, the cursor was 90 degrees "late" (and when I made a circle clockwise, the cursor was 90 degrees in front.
    Seemed like the touchscreen was potrait and my screen landscape.. It was like when you rotate the laptop screen 90 degrees and the touchpad is not rotated at the same time..
    2) cursor moved, but it didn't draw any line (like I saw in the XP -version).

    Anyone seen such behavior? Any suggestions on how to overcome the problem?

    Quite simple solution for the problem.

    Since Windows 7 drivers do not work, use Windows XP drivers on Windows 7.
    --> problem solved.

    Just completed this mod yesterday. I recieved the plastic screen version from onetouchworld and after installation everything is working fine. I did however experience the same Windows 7 driver issue, but I simply used the url link that was on the box and it directed me towards the site for downloading the correct driver. The only thing the kit didn't come with was an instruction manual but I didn't really end up needing one.. while I was at it I also installed a 32gb SSD from Transcend which only cost me about 70 bucks shipped, which has made a big difference in terms of performance. I also removed the wireless router in favor of a Broadcom CrystalHD graphics card which has also taken a lot of load off the CPU. I simply wish I could overclock the CPU by some 200mhz so that I could give it that extra little boost it needs to really perform well. But I digress.

    I'm quite surprised how well the touchscreen actually works! A number of years ago I bought a tablet pad to use with another computer so I could sketch stuff on my computer, and I was supremely disappointed in its lacking accuracy, but this thing is right on the money! A cheap mod that has increased the usability of the netbook and increased its value.

    Does anyone know what kind of usb plugs the controller board uses? I want to add a Wireless N usb adapter to the inside of my AAO but I don't know what kind of connector the controller board needs.
