Trackpad + Keyboard Ribbon Problem

    I disassembled my AA1 in order to put in a new Wi-Fi card. My problem is that the trackpad and keyboard don't work or sometimes work (some keys register). I've seen many suggestion including 1) snapping in the lock first and 2) placing some tape to make it fit better. I've tried both suggestions and both don't seem to work. Any ideas before I have this done by a professional?
