Transmission Problems

    Hi Guys

    I successfully installed and application called Transmission which is a bit torrent client.

    However, when I try and open a torrent file with this application, the application just disappears.

    I got no errors when installing the application.

    Can anyone help me out with this?

    From the desktop, press "Alt+F2" and enter "xfterm4" and hit return. A terminal will launch, enter "transmission" and hit return and see if the console reports anything.

    How exactly are you opening Transmission, i.e. opening it, then opening a torrent file, or clicking the torrent file in the file browser and selecting "Open With Transmission" etc..?

    Hi will give that a go when I get home.

    I launch Transmission firstly and then try and open the file with Transmission.
