I just purchased Aspire one. Am travelling to Turkey in a few days. Their electrical main is 220 V 50Hz. The machine is set up for US 110v 60HZ. In working through the problem I found a transverter that is rated at 85W, from the on-line specs I see that Aspire is rated at 65W, so this is good. However in looking closely at the power supply it is rated at 110-220v input/ Does this mean that I can use a simple converter plug and forgo the voltage conversion process? Couldn't find any references to traveling with Aspire, in or around the Internet. Any thoughts? Thanks

Yes, no need for any converters... most laptops(including the AAO) have autovolt AC adapters. No worries using them on 110-220v outlets. You may need to find the proper plugs however, since some countries have this 3 prong type etc etc.
