I want to logg in with my MSN account using my MSN user-ID and pasword but I always get the message that there is an error because the protocol is not supported...

Do Ido something wrong or is it not possible to activate msn-messenger account with this messenger???

Strange, worked 100% fine for me . . . of course I ripped it out afterwards and installed Pidgin instead, heh, but I never got any errors like that beforehand. It is DEFINITELY possible to log into an MSN Messenger account with the default Acer-ized version of Pidgin (ie. "Messenger").

Suggest to make liveupdate to solve this problem. The old version uses old protocol to sign in MSN and now rejected by MSN server.
