First off, the model for your AAO should be on the bottom of the machine on the white sticker with the barcode.

eg: Mine says Aspire One D250-0bk
That makes the model a D250 - colour and hardware configuration is usually determined by the extra bits 0bk (not sure what the 0 is, but the bk I'm pretty sure means black)
On the big black sticker that has the Acer logo, the model number is KAV60, I'm not 100% certain, but pretty sure this relates to the BIOS. (Can someone else clarify this in a reply)
You can also tell the model by the colour scheme and hardware contents.
eg: My D250 has a black lid and black LCD bezel, brushed-steel-look palm rest and keyboard surround, power button is to the top-right of the keyboard, bluetooth button and status LED's are at the top-left, black keyboard, touchpad is on the palm rest in the middle of the space bar, power status LED is on the front as is the WiFi switch, on the left hand side it has 1x RJ45 ethernet port, 1x VGA port, 1x USB port, headphone & mic ports, on the right it has the A/C jack, 2x USB ports, 1x Card reader slot, on the under-side there is three access panels, RAM, mPCIe and storage. The storage for the D250 is a 2.5" SATA Hard Disk Drive

As for the BSOD, what's the code it's giving you? it should look something like 0x00000000
