I am using my computer for the first time after a keyboard repair (replaced keyboard) at Acer during which they replaced the hard drive and updated the BIOS. I had no other problems before that, but now in all three different browsers when I type I get numbers not letters - the numbers sequence from 0-9.

    How do I fix this?

I ain't an expert but I'd say send it back to them, sounds like they've screwed up, defo not tested it properly after repair.

    Hi there,

Does it only happen in a web browser? If you open Notepad or some other word processing package can you type all letters on the keyboard?
Sounds like you may have the numpad enabled which uses the letters keys as a number keypad like you get on a normal keyboard.

Can you advise which model Acer you have and which OS you are running?

    Cheers

    Paul
