    Hi

would it be possible to switch to Xfce while keeping the UNR layout?

This because Ubuntu (with Gnome) has an massive memory footprint.
    Code:
    ~$ top
    top - 10:26:20 up 15 min, 2 users, load average: 0.53, 0.44, 0.30
    Tasks: 108 total, 2 running, 106 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie
    Cpu(s): 7.4%us, 2.3%sy, 0.0%ni, 90.1%id, 0.0%wa, 0.2%hi, 0.0%si, 0.0%st
    Mem: 502936k total, 487160k used, 15776k free, 22140k buffers
    Swap: 0k total, 0k used, 0k free, 139172k cached

(only firefox 26M and a terminal open 11M, original installation.)
So that means without any apps open I would have about 55M free memory, not a lot...

thanks for reading, many thanks for answering
