I recieved my aspire one back from Acer after repair (they only did crisis recovery and updated bios to 3305) and now with ubuntu it takes foreve to get the shutdown dialog box to come up and there isnt an option to for suspend or hybernate. does this have to do with the new bios or just a coincidence. I tried re-installing the power-mangement packages and no luck but once in a while everything appears normal. also the battery options under the power management disappear. Maybe Acer doesnt like ubuntu and sabatoged my machine lol :) Does any know what todo or think that re-installing ubuntu will help?
