So I just installed the 1GB of ram and tried the bluetooth upgrade...

Now when I plug in the ac adapter, the led comes one for a second and then goes off.

Did I short out the motherboard?

the left LED comes on for a second and then goes off. This is why I think its the motherboard.

:) Easy, just trying to help. There's a couple of non-boot issues floating around the forums and we want to be sure it's not one of them, right?

Sounds like it could be the motherboard, sadly. But to be absoltely sure, I'd disassemble again slowly and carefully, and double check all the connections. I once had a friend who had to send in macbook because the powerbutton wasn't working - in other words, it can still be nothing

Who do people think general means not software
theres a place called hardware and a place called hacks and modifications.
Go LOOK there and read and search then if nothing relevant comes up post. But you cant have searched much
plus use a better title than uh-oh
sorry for the rant, its just forums have sections for a reason

    Hope it all gets sorted.

Plus, bluetooth mod, where did you solder the wires to? tnkgirl's guide way?
