UK price rises ?

    I bought my first AAO in nov 2008, from amazon UK for £215 inc postage, an A150-AW (1GB RAM, 120GB HDD, white, linux)

    I bought a second identical one for the girlfriend, just before xmas for £199, again from amazon

    I now see that the amazon website is selling them for £250

    whats going on ? I haven't heard acer raising prices, is this an effect of the weak £ ? Is this going to get worse in the new year ?

    ah, I see whats happened, amazon have sold out, the units left are from expansys (only 2 left)

    looks like lots of people are gonna be really happy with santa in the morning :lol:

    still £199 in Curries for the 150. Got mine there!
