Unable to access usb drive?

    Hello!

    I seem to be unable to access usb drive - i put in a 4gb usb key and it doesn't show up anywhere on my folder structure. I have only done a few hacks, changed the desktop, extended menu, and i've installed vlc and firefox and a few other bits. BUt I dont think that this should make a difference.

    I don;t know, the usb lights up and flashes, but I can't access it?

    THis seems to be a new problem, I have tried restarting the laptop with the usb key in, but it just says I need to remove it.

    ANyone help!! Please!
