    I'm having problem opening mails under Aspire One mail.
    updated to Firefox 3 and restored shared libraries as in this link
    http://jorge.ulver.no/2008/08/06/acer-aspire-one-tips-and-tricks/
    no problem receiving/sending mails but mail program crashes once I try to open a mail :?
    I think it also happens with RSS reader so could be the libraries that cause this problem?
    Any idea what's going on? Or better yet solution(s) ;)

    You can try #1 here as an alternative solution.

    Mail and RSS application are both fine in my installation.
    (install firefox and run recover_firefox_libraries.sh)
    Could you post some more information or console log?

    Re: unable to open mails in Asprie One Mail

    Thanks ouchla for reminding me. :)
    here is the error log:
    ...
    /usr/lib/firefox-3.0.1/run-mozilla.sh: line 131: 10840 Segmentation fault "$prog" ${1+"$@"}

    Something's missing in that "recover_firefox_libraries.sh" script when I first ran it that caused the crash.
    The script was updated since and I ran it again, everything's working correctly now!
