    Hi

I installed Ubuntu 8.10 on my A110 and successfully got the wireless network card working. However, I cannot see the wireless network I have here at home, even though I can see both the wireless networks of my neighbours. It was entirely straightforward to connect with Linpus, and I've even tried using a different wireless adapter (a linksys usb adapter) with exactly the same result. I even tried disabling the security on my router (a linksys WRT54G), but to no avail.

Any ideas as to whats going on would be very much appreciated,

    Many thank

If you can see other networks your router's "broadcast ssid" is, probably, turned off. Your other computers won't have a problem as they, already, know the ssid.
