Serious here. My AAO device (110/Zubuntu) performs quite well while almost always at 800MHz. If we could drop the clock (say to a 600 - 1200 range) then a more aggressive software clock-freq management could yield the same same performance and save power at idle. OK, I know this is probably not going to get a real solution, but perhaps it will start people thinking in that direction.
