    A great and very lengthy article over at Anandtech explaining the situation with current SSD's:

    A good read if you really want to understand the problems and advantages with current SSD's and you're wondering why your SSD-based Netbook behaves the way it does. Even a few tips for how you can reduce some of the annoyances (some new info on why performance degrades over time etc.).
