unetbootin will instal linux not windows

I have no problem using Unetbootin when installing Linux to Acer one 1g/160 hd, but with windows I get a screen saying boot default in 8 seconds,it counts down and the just repeats.The only other option is press key for options and I get letters then a curser.Any ideas. fminmexico.
