unwired and netgear wgr614 v7

    Hello smart people!!!

    I am a newbie in how to use a router...

    I have an unwired network, with its own modem. I bought a netgear wgr614 v7 router which came with the power adaptor, NO CD OR MANUAL, as it is a 2nd hand one.... I have no idea how to connect it... it shows a name that it is not usually in my wireless networks, but it shows that it is a secure network, which i am thinking it has a ...password??? should I contact the person who owned before and ask for the password, or do I have to install something in the laptop ??

    do I have to download any drivers or software??? ( it is the first time i use it)
    Please , any help would be appreciated!!!!
