I bought a 722 11.6" aspire one a few months ago. It's been an awesome computer, but I still haven't gotten used to the keyboard. Being flat and without much "button press" feel it makes typing a pain. Coming from ThinkPads, it's a huge difference.

I've done some searching around, but haven't found anything promising (partly because I'm not sure how to search for it). Has anyone looked into replacing the aspire's keyboard with one from another laptop (I'm typing on an X100e right now and it's amazing)? What would I need to look at? Are the output ribbons different based on make - can this be fixed with software?

I'm pretty good with DIY stuff, just not sure where to start.

    thanks for any help,
    Matt
