    Hello,
this is my 1st post :)
I'm an owner of Acer AO521. I purchased it being sure it supports 5 Ghz wi-fi because it's equipped with 802.11n card. Unfortunately, lack of technical knowledge played a trick on me. Acer's Atheros AR5B95 is b/g/n card and it only works on 2,4 Ghz
Having a Netgear WNDR3700 (v1) router I badly want to try out 5 Ghz wireless network. Besides, my Sony wireless headphones use 2,4 Ghz channel and there's some sound distortion when Acer's using wi-fi for heavy data transfer (like streaming video from the web). I've tried all channels in Netgear's configuration panel (1-13 in Europe region and 1-11 i USA region) with no luck. Headphones have no switches whatsoever to change the channel.
Finally, a wi-fi card supporting a/b/g/n standards would be a nice upgrade :D
I've discovered that it should be easy to replace the Atheros-based card. After some research and vacillation I'm looking towards buying Intel Advanced-N 6200 card. It is a half-size PCI Express card 3 cm x 2.68 cm so should fit in the netbook perfectly.
Things I have to take into consideration:
    1. If acer BIOS will support this new device. On Newegg website someone reported about replacing Atheros card with Intel 6200 in Acer AO532h netbook. While mine is a different model, that looks promising. Besides, on Netgear forum someone posted about excellent transfer speeds between WNDR3700 router and Intel 6200-based laptop.
    2. If I will lose bluetooth support after removing Atheros card. I'm not sure, but it looks like AR5B95 is somewhat integrated with bluetooth  If I'm talking nonsense please bear with me
    So basically my question is:
Will Intel Advanced-N 6200 card work in Acer AO521? Chances are, some owners switched Atheros to Intel.
    And will I lose bluetooth?

    Bumping...

I guess I could just buy it and return it if it does not work.
