Nope, not possible! You need a Pro license key and a CD. That will cost about £79

I have a copy of XP PRo upgrade and product key. Can I upgrade using a cdrom drive through my home network if the ROM is shared?

Download a copy of windows XP OEM edition from a torrent site. Use your CD key on the bottom of the AAO. Then upgrade it to XP pro.

    We call that illegal XD

If you have the product key and CD, your almost good to go. I'd suggest buying an external DVD drive or take a DVD drive and use a IDE to usb adapter. that's what i did to install OS X and Windows 7

What's illegal about it? It's the same CD as the one that acer used to install on the AAO. He's using his own genuine XP home edition product key.

its ilegal cause the windows cd isn't free, with or without a Windows XP key. he can always "borrow" a cd from a friend tho as that would be acceptable :p
