Upgrade from XP to Vista?

    How can this be done?

    I have a legit copy of Vista and want to upgrade it.

    It can be done but would advise just backing up ALL the data you wish to keep and doing a install of Vista as every machine I have ever done and colleges have done as and upgrade had screwed the machine up resulting in lose of data and a full reinstall of Vista...

    got to thislink viewtopic.php?f=66&t=8588#p57092 a post of my mind that way you can havve the best of both worlds xp and vista if not just a standard install should be fine and i didnt back up my data for a dualboot and to edit the boot manager i used easybcd in vusta and changed it from older version of windows to Microsoft Windows Xp (just easier not nesscary) any questions message me
