I recently upgraded (?) my DG834G v3 to a DGN200 router in the hope I would get a better signal on my netbook upstairs. Alas the performance is much worse for streaming video. I put this down to the Atheros AR5BXB63 card in the netbook so I’ve changed this to an INTEL WIRELESS 4965AGN 802.11N 300MBPS MINI PCI-E CARD. (using the excellent tutorialon this site)

My question is do I need to tweak some settings on the DGN2000 to get these two to talk to each other properly. Or reading through the forums is the DGN200 a pig in a poke, everyone seems to be going for the rangemax routers?

P.S The aerial lead supplied with the new wireless card isnt long enough to fit into the screen case so ive mounted it under the mobo - problem?
