Upgrading from 6 to 9 cell - anything I need to do?

    I just ordered a 9-cell 6600mAh battery for my AA1. I currently use a 3-cell. Before I connect the 9-cell is there anything I need to do? Will the computer automatically accept and recognize the 9-cell?

    how many hours will you be able to get out of a 9 cell?

    After charging my new 9-cell battery overnight the battery meter indicated 8 hours and 20 minutes available when I powered up. While large, the battery is actually smaller and less bulky than I expected. I ordered it from amazon.com. I'm in the US and it arrived in just about 4 days.     I would recommend conditioning it. I get 9+ hrs from mine.
