OK, so this is a really basic question I know, but I am totally new to linpus:

How do I get to see a removable drive (in this case my iphone) when it is plugged into the usb port?
What I am trying to do is get my AAO to see the data (contact details) on my phone to see if I can transfer them onto my AAO.

Or is it that the iphone is not classed as a USB removable drive? If so, will AAO automatically "see" USB memory sticks etc?

I have just been looking through various posts and have come across one that says itunes is not compatible with Linux. Does this mean that I cannot now sync my iphone (as far as I am aware it is only possible to sync and other stuff with the iphone via itunes)? If so, is there a way round this, or do I need to have a windows based machine?

For info, my system is 120gb HDD, 1MB RAM, Linpus OS

    thanks.

The only way to sync an iphone is via itunes - which is only available for OS X and Windows unfortunately
