    Hi
I bought a Acer One Netbook back in December, which i would like to connect to the net.
I went to O2 in Nottingham and bought a mobile broad band USB port.
But with the Netbook working on Linux, it won;t down load, has anyone got any ideas on how i can either skip past the Linux to get the O2 to work, or another network that will work on Linux :?

Any help/advice will be gratefully recivered.

Take a look in the 3G subforum. Roughly speaking, you will need to get a program from the Acer site called Mobile Partner, and set it up correctly for your modem and network. If you're still having issues, you'll need to tell people what modem you've got - a Huawei E160, for example?
