usb mouse scrollwheel too sensitive

    Subject says it all. When I scroll it it's as if I'm spinning it up and down very quickly - the browser window (for example) scrolls randomly up and down for half a second or so and if I'm lucky it will end up actually having scrolled a little in the direction I span it. I install imwheel but that doesn't seem to be helping.

    Sounds like you have auto scrolling and / or smooth scrolling enabled in your browser under preferences.
