I've installed ntsf-3g and ntsf-config on my system. Over the weekend I used an external usb drive, all worked perfectly, but now the machine doesn't want to mount any usb sticks anymore. I only get the error:

mount: only root can mount /dev/sdb1 on /media/PortableApp2

where portableapp2 was the name of the usb disk. Now I'm about a 1000 km away from that disk and would like to use a usb stick.

    Any help appreciated.

update: I've deleted the portableapp2 file in /media/ but that didn't work.

further update It seems I had not dismounted the disk properly, which led to the issue. It seems as well that an usb stick or disk that has not been dismounted properly in windows xp can cause problems too

    Thanks
