Now, I know I've written this somewhere else, but I think this is a more appropriate place for it. Plus I'm at my wits end.

I need to system restore, but my one will simply not read from the usb stick. When I put a stick in, it just hangs at the first acer screen. I can't get into the F2 or F12 options.

    What's going on?

I've tried the emergancy bios reload thing and that does nothing to help whatsoever. I can't update the BIOS, either. I'm a bit of a newbie with stuff. Is it a case of finding the reciept now?

Here's what the ifo screen says about the BIOS: BIOS Version : v0.3109
