usb tethering and xbox live

I have an AOD257 with windows 7 starter. what im attempting to do is use usb tethering from my android phone to connect to xbox live via an ethernet cable and my computer. I was using a video found here [URL]http://www.seo-strategies.org/2011/02/how-to-connect-pdanet-to-xbox-360/[/URL] when I go into network connection and access the properties of any of my connections I only have a networking tab not multiple tabs why is this.
