Every time I use a keyboard shortcut, for instance alt-F2, the menu won't popup anymore when I right-click the desktop, until I re-boot and then the same thing happens. It happens 100% of the time.

This is my biggest complaint about Linpus, if I can solve this I'll stick with.

    Anyone else??? Any suggestions?

I guess this isn't what you want to hear, but mine doesn't do that. Like most people ( guess) I've hacked the start-up scripts to give me a stock XFCE desktop rather than the Acer one. I don't whether yours is the same. In any case, right click continues to work for me.

I know what happens now. Every time I use a kb shortcut, the "Allow xfce to manage desktop" checkbox gets unchecked.
What's the name of that popup menu anyway? (the one you get by right-clicking the desktop) If I could make a kb shortcut for that I wouldn't care about not being able to get it by right-clicking the desktop.
