Hi, I Just purchased the Aspire one seen here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6834115554

I know I want to upgrade the little guy to a 2 gig ram module, and right now I think ive got it narrowed down to these two:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820231163

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820104100

I would love to get the Kingston Hyper X considering its like 6 bucks less than the other and has crazy tight timings 3-3-3-8, but A few of the reviewers said that memory caused the very same model netbook to overheat, which i obviously dont want.

I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with that module of kingston memory in the aspire one?

Also, I was toying with the idea getting the hyperX memory, then underclocking the fsb a few mhz, couldnt do anything but reduce heat and prolong battery life. Also I don't know to what degree, and Im not a computer engineer but my gut tells me ram with low timings would make a better mate for the little atom N270, even if it was, say 520 mhz, instead of 533.

ddr2-667 isnt out of the question either, but there dont seem to be modules of that speed out there with timings any lower than the 4-4-4-12's of the 533 mhz variety.
