Using memory cards?

    I have understood that in Vista and Windows 7 there is a possiblity to use USB stick as a memory to make PC works faster. I think that it was mentioned to be a location for a swap file or something like that. Could the memory card slot in 751h bre used for that purpose also? And if yes, would it really give any benefit on performance?

    Just like adding as much ram as you can, you don't get a performace gain, as such... What happens is your system takes more to slow down...

    When you run out of ram, your hard drive then becomes pseudo ram and read/writing to the HDD is the slowest possible.

    Having said that, 2gig of normal ram is fine for a netbook as most netbooks won't be running intensive apps.

    Yes, when adding a memory card or usb stick "Speed Up My System" will be an option in the autoplay menu. Its called readyboost and your card or stick needs to operate at a certain speed to be able to be used.

    But only use it if you need it I reckon.
