I have had my aspire one notebook a few weeks now messed around with it first time i had it to see if all working ok etc, since then not really had the chance to use it proper or take it anywhere with me,i am going away on holidays and am taking this with me,i will have a 3 dongle modem which i will use when i need to get online and buy a sim card from where i am at,but the likes of say when i am at airports you can get free internet right?im new to this but is this wifi internet,so this means i can take my notebook out and if i get a wifi signal i can use it,is these places well adverstised as in where they are at airports or do you pretty much get a signal all over the airport.
The airports i will be in is aberdeen, dont have time to use the notebook then, but i might have at heathrow i think terminal 3 and then sinapore,i also want to know how hard or easy is it to switch the wifi on with this notebook,as i have not used it much i dont really know as yet, this laptop i type with now has two keys i press and its on,what about the aspire one?

    Thanks in advance

There is a small slider switch on the front, right corner. This can be used to switch WiFi on and off in Linpus and XP.

Are you sure that your 3G modem is unlocked and that you will be able to use a "foreign" SIM?
