using only the adaptor

    Hello, is it advisable or is it possible to use the AAO with the adapter only without a battery? thanks.

    yes but unless you're on a UPS, if the power goes out, so does your AAO and sudden power losses are not good for the hard drive.

    Actually, it issaid that if you are only going to use your laptop on suppliedpower, it isbetter to do it with the battery out. This will prolong the life of the battery.
