    Hi;

    im just wondering how many people here use the vga port on their one often? I have found the only way that i can get it to work is to start the one up with the vga lead connected before boot. This isnt a huge issue but it would be nice if there is a way around this.

    A separate issue i have found is that for some reason the display resolution on my one drops considerably when i use the vga out (admittedly with a 4:3 screen/projector and not widescreen) but i would also like to be able to solve this issue.

    Thanks.

    (Im running 8.10 with slickboys (frankly awesome!) kernel.

    I use it a lot. On Ubuntu 8.04 the resolution downs to 800x600, on 8.10 resolution stayed on 1024x600.
    But in my school all the video projectors are a bit old and not one is widescreen.
    It's not a problem to me, and yes they only start when I boot AAO conected to the video projector.
