VGA Port problem?

    When I plug in a projector and power it up I get the WINDOWS XP screen appear via the projector on the wall (normal behaviour) -

    it then cuts out and I'm getting a "NO INPUT" message on a blank screen

    Is this a driver or a hardware problem?

    ah yes - the Function keys........................

    I could do with a DECENT manual tho'
