    Hi,

I'm looking to buy a VGA to RCA converter and was wondering if the VGA out would support it.

    Here's what I'm looking at:
    http://www.monoprice.com/products/produ ... 1&format=2

It seems like it should work but they warn:

(*)It will work with VGA cards that has TV-Out function capability through the VGA connector.
Check your Video Card manual or manufacturer to make sure that your VGA card has TV-Out function capability.

Does anyone know if the TV-Out functionality is there? Does this just mean I need to set the resolution to 800x600?

    Thanks

the video on the ONE doesn't output tv signal only vga you need a converter box similar to the cable but with a bit more hardware inside to do the conversion to s/vid-composite signal hope this helps SNO

Do you mean the AAO only has a VGA port, or do you mean the VGA signal does not carry a video signal on the VGA port?

At that price, give it a try. The video card in the EeePC supported TV Out but the drivers did not. I believe the ONE will have the same problem and you will need a PC to video component converter such as a Grandtec GXP 2000.
