    Hi everyone....

What driver is the best for the Intel GMA 500 -for Windows 7-??

    - The old one (7.14.10.1006)
    - The Acer one (8.14.10.2003)
    - The W7 one (8.14.10.2011)

There is another one, the IEDG one which is the 10.2.0.1447 and I've read that have a massive 3D boost under Windows 7 because enables OpenGL. But I don't know if it is stable because is a driver for XP. I've tried both "8" and I have issues with YouTube... I get big gray blocks instead of video.

So... which one is the best?

I have Windows 7 running with the W7 driver.

I also installed the Halli media splitter.

Now I can watch HD video with little or no lag. VLC doesn't run HD for me but WMP will. YouTube runs fine.

I'm also running the W7 driver, haven't had any issues with it.

Same here, using the standard W7 driver.
