video editting and screen capture program

    do a search in 'add/remove' programmes for Avidemux nice little basic vid editor.. works ok, dont try and do anything to heavy on it tho if you only have the 512meg version... there will be tears lol :mrgreen:

    For screen capture you can use:

    1. The "import" command from ImageMagick

    2. KSnapshot from KDE

    3. gnome-screenshot from Gnome

    Also for screen capture just press the PrtSc SysRg button top right on the keyboard.

    and for screen video capture you can use the Screen:// input for vlc. Just seraach vlc forums for help on this.
